Bridesmaid ♥

‘I’m getting married!And i want you to become my ji mui (bridesmaid in cantonese).’ Franny said.

The first thought that came into my mind was, ‘OHHHH YES!BRIDESMAID!Like FINALLY!’

I was so much more excited to finally have a chance to become a bridesmaid than her getting married! *shifty eyes*

HAHAHAHA,ANYWAY,i was really happy for her too!And yay!I’ve always wanted to feel how is it like to be a bridesmaid.I’m not sure about you guys but i think its like a girly thing.Its all about the dresses,shoes,make up and all the girly stuff that you could think of.

And i actually planned a hens night out for the bride!But the stressed out bride fell sick on the night itself so we have no choice but to cancel the party.I was hoping to have loads of fun during hens night :(

But it wasn’t easy to plan a wedding after all,especially dealing with the preparations and all.The bride deserves a good rest.

Other bridesmaids busy preparing for the door games!Its like a Chinese tradition which the groom will normally arrive with his male entourage (otherwise known as Hing Dai’s) at the bride’s house.The bride will wait in her room as all her bridesmaids will assign some ‘tasks’ that the groom and this Hing Dai’s has to complete in order to see his lovely bride.

So,yesterday my girlfriend randomly asked me a few questions that i thought i could share some of my thoughts with ya’ll.

1.Which couple that you look up the most to?

A: No specific couple,there is a few that i’m really envious of,but i’ll say that its the criteria that they all share.Its the commitment that they make,how they actually value their relationship,and the way they respect each other.Its just amazing how much faith they can put into each other,even years has past,some of my friends can still be so loving to each other!

2.What kind of guy that you’re looking for?

A:If you want me to list down the perfect guy,this is going to be a long answer.I mean LONG.HAHAHAHA,But i’ll try.Okay,he must have a good heart,kind of course.I can’t take spoil brats,i want a man not a boy.I like guys who has great sense of humor!And i’m a very chatty person,so he can’t be too quiet.If not i’ll get bored easily(speaking from a sagittarius).But most importantly,he has to be family oriented kind of guy.Who treats his parents nicely and respect them.Someone who can guide me,lead me.A guy who is adventurous and love sports gives credit to it too!Looks wise,hmmm.Not too ugly and not too good looking(i’m very insecure).Unless you are willing to do whatever it takes to gain my trust,that’s a different story lolwtf.Have i ever mention guys who has really sexy abs turns me on?That’s the sexiest thing i can ever see in a guy.And i’ve a thing for nose.Guys who has sharp nose gets more of my attention(maybe cause my dad has really sharp nose lol)

Am i ranting too much?Yes i am!Haha!Anyway,i think feelings are really important.Sometimes the perfect guy that you stumble upon doesn’t necessary mean that he’s going to be the one that you love the most.I think its better to choose a person that you can get along&feel comfortable with than the ‘perfect’ one.I don’t just want a boyfriend,i want a soul mate!!

3.What’s the sweetest affection someone has ever shown to you?

A: When he plays with my hair,look me in the eyes and rubs his nose against mine.And he would cuddle me the whole night even his arms are tired.The most blissful moments are the ones unsaid,but you just know that he loves you.

4.What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever done for love?

A:You’d rather hurt yourself than letting him go.It doesn’t matter how much he took you for granted,as long you still wanted him to stay by your side.Does this consider as something stupid?Or maybe,tried working as an insurance agent for one to two months just to earn some money and get him a birthday present that he doesn’t even wear.It was quite stupid,hahahaha.I hated that job!And i was still studying at that time!Not easy to juggle both.And my bank went kosong after spending everything for his birthday.I told myself i’m not going to do this ever again LOL cause at the end of the day you’ll be unappreciated anyway.

There’s a few more questions which i forgot!Will continue next time!And i really want you guys to share your answers with me too!So,you know what to do ;)

♥ Kimee turning BIG TWO-ONE ♥

There’s so many upcoming celebrations to celebrate!Especially in December,there will be events happening everyweek.Don’t think i can cope with attending so many parties and events anymore.

First was Doll’s birthday,then its Kimee’s!And guess who’s having her birthday next!

Had dinner and celebrated Kimee’s birthday at Neo Tamarind few weeks back.Was pretty sick of western cuisine already so we decided to go for Thai food!

The ambiance of the place is so serene!Everyone’s just quietly savoring dinner.

I didn’t get to eat much during dinner,was pretty full from late lunch.

But the girls sure did enjoy!

But some choose to fight against the rules.Somehow its useless,April got pretty drunk at of the night.

Glutton unleashed.

I really need my cravings fixed!It is such a torture to me whenever i look at all the sinful food pictures that i took in Melbourne.

Which makes me miss Melbourne even more cause they have fucking good stuff when it comes too food!Finally i’m doing a review about Cumulus Inc,which i’m sure Michelle has been anticipating to see what i’ve ordered.

Before having dinner at Cumulus Inc,Shalissa brought us to a place for dessert which i cannot recall what’s the name of it.

But anyway,I HAD THE MOST FUCKING ORGASMIC PANCAKES AND STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE EVER.

They serve OMFGOOD pancakes ever!Its definitely not pancake parlor which everyone’s ranting about in Melbourne,i think they’re a little overrated.THIS,THIS IS THE BEST CREATION EVER!

*moans* UGH SO GOOD.I wish i can have one of these now.

BUSTED!Greedy me trying to fit almost half of the pancake into my mouth.

Teeeheeeee.

And the pancakes are almost the size of my face.

Then,its Cumulus Inc along Flinders street later that night.

They don’t take reservations unless you come in a group of 7 to 14,so we had to wait for good half an hour to be seated.I would say we’re pretty lucky because we walked in quite late!

A few friends joined us for dinner!

So each of us ordered a dish and shared among each other.

Not a fan of oysters,i’ll pass!

First i thought it was parma,but Hann said it isn’t parma.So i’m still trying to figure it out what is this.

Smoked corn chowder with scallops.

Wagyu bresaola, beetroot, dill and horseradish cream.

My choice.Foie gras parfait with toasted brioche.

Shalissa decided to go healthy!So this was her choice.Cracked wheat & freekeh salad, preserved lemon, barberries.

Fried soft shell crab, school prawns, chilli & lime

Whole slow roast lamb shoulder to share.

My favorite dish of the night.Love how they keep their seasonings simple.Some rosemary,salt&pepper and you’re good to go!Less is more!In this way you can fully taste the original flavor of the mutton.And it is perfectly roasted.Don’t think i ever tasted such tender and juicy lamb shoulder in my life.

NOT EXAGGERATING.

So each of us paid around 60AUD for dinner which i personally think its reasonable for the selection of food we had,and and for their standards,i am willing to pay for it!Though yes its pretty costly if you were to convert it back to Malaysia’s currency.You probably can dine in one of KL’s finest 5 star restaurant for RM190 per person.

But its all worth it!So if anyone of you happen to be in Melbourne someday,go give Cumulus Inc a try!

Scrumptious meal,awesome selection of wine with good company over dinner.How can i ever complain about life?Life is good.

I’ll breathe again ♥

Decided to blog before my week starts to be really hectic towards the end of the month!December is a month that i’ve been looking forward to,and it has finally arrived!

Hopefully everything is going smooth,what i’m concern is not about my birthday now,its about the product launch that i’ll be having this weeked.I’m really happy and glad that i’m blessed to have and achieved everything i have now,and things just gets better everyday.Wanna thank my family and friends for all the support.Those who believed in me,fought for me all these while.Thanks guys.

I’m still in the middle of process of learning,and its not going to be easy i know.Let’s hope for the best!

We’re gifted to have two ears and one mouth,its because god wants us to listen carefully,twice as much as we speak.To make the right judgement.I don’t blame those who judged me without knowing me,everyone judge.Rumors are everywhere,and trust me,i’ve been dealing with it since i started blogging four years ago.Things like this don’t affect me anymore,but i just want you guys,whoever it is reading this right now to know and understand that how much damage a small rumor can be done to a person.So before you make a statement,please think carefully.Be a better person.

It just saddens me when people around me will do whatever it takes,do things that they know that they’re not even proud of,having all the intentions to sabotage one another when they don’t deserve it.What’s with all the hatred going on?But i guess its up to them to choose their path,how they want to live.I’m doing my best to be myself,make myself and my love ones proud.That’s what matters.And i know my values,what kind girl would i be if i’m the kind of girl that put myself out there?I’m so much worthy than the girl that some of you think that i am.I’m better than that.Time will tell.

What comes around goes around.I truly believe in karma,do you?

Here’s a little updates on what i’ve been doing on November.

Had a pork feast to celebrate my bestie AJ’s arrival in KL.

Also had my mango beer cravings fixed!

We started of with a cold platter with four different flavors of ham,gherkins,eggs,cheeses,fresh capsicum and cherry tomatoes.Also it comes with bacon spread served with bread.

Merchant ship in our way!The platter is HUGE.

I can’t even afford to stuff myself with food anymore after having slice and slices of hams.Then someone had to order this because all of us feels like eating pork knuckle.I feel like puking just by looking at it because i was so full!Should have just ordered the ala carte for the pork knuckle.But we stayed for quite sometime,and thank god we managed to finish everything.I really hate to see food go wasted.Influence since young by my dad,everything must not be wasted!

And in November,i had my first reality TV shoot!Was featured in two episodes of ‘TAKE ME OUT’ for NT7.I won’t tell you which episode am i going to be in!!Unless you really want to see me embarrassing myself on national TV you can tune into NTV7 every Friday night,8pm and wait till i show up.

The whole process was nerve wrecking i swear!I had the most stupidest answers answered.Cause everyone of us gets only like a few seconds to think if the host asks us a question.

And i was being nervous and all,that i have no idea what was i even talking about.It was BAD.lolol

But overall it was fun!An experience to gain in your life for once!Being on TV isn’t as fun as you think it is.It consumes a lot of time and you have to be very devoted to be in the entertainment industry.We had two episodes filmed in one day,and it was 9 am onwards till the next 2am in the morning..It was pretty intense.We had to stand in our heels for hours!By the time i got home,i can’t feel my legs anymore.Its not the end yet,i had a pretty bad leg sore the next morning.And it lasted for two days.

Silly Dolly Molly’s 21st birthday bash ♥♥♥

Finally my little chili padi has turned 21!

Sometimes,even the closest person to you can be blinded by rumors and words.But she always had my back,regardless whenever and whatever that happens.I’m truly blessed to have a genuine,caring friend like her,and i want this friendship to last forever!

Celebrated at IL Lido along Jalan Mayang,one of the best Italian fine dining restaurant in KL.And when i say best,which means i’m really impress.

I didn’t set my expectations too high at first,cause when the last time i had Italian at Pegro’s,i didn’t enjoy my food at all.And the price wasn’t very reasonable.It feels like you paid for a hundred bucks for a pasta that it can even be cook at home.I felt cheated.But IL Lido totally changed my perception towards expensive dining.This time,it was really worth the price.

We ordered a few appetizers to share.The first one was Cappesante Arrostite e Bottarga di Muggine(Pan Roasted Scallops with Cannelini Beans, Carrot Jus and Bottarga)

Scallops were really fresh and its perfectly cook.Scallops becomes really chewy if its overcooked,but in this case,you can just rip it apart with your tongue.And i love smokey flavor of the golden brown crust on the sides,and together with the bottaga’s natural saltiness and the sweetness of the carrot jus,it makes a perfect combination!

Fegato d’Oca e Galantina d’Anitra(Pan Fried Goose Liver with Duck Terrine and Wild Berries)

I’m missing this dish so much!Been craving for it every time i look at this picture.I’m so enjoying this dish.Love the fatty flavors of the goose liver,its so flavorsome that the aroma sustains while i breathe!Love the crisps on the edges of the goose liver,and the middle part is soft and creamy.It melts straight away when it reaches the tongue,no effort needed to chew!OMG SO GOOD.

Prime Beef Tenderloin with Gorgonzola Cheese Sauce and Truffle Potatoes

My hopes got really high after tasting the appetizers,and my main course had to let me down :(

The beef was slightly chewy,and i’m not enjoying the cheese sauce over it.I still prefer raw and original taste for steaks!Salt and pepper will do just fine.But the truffle potatoes are amazing.But it gets really filling afterwards.

Doll’s main course.I regretted for not having a bite of all of their main course!It looks yummy.

Mmmmm,saffron makes everything sound tastier.

So,me being greedy,i ordered another main course to try !There are too many appealing dishes and i feel like trying everything!So eventually everyone shared this together with me.
