Pretty in pink ♥

There’s 3 things i’ve been really obsess with lately.

#1 i’m obsess with the place – Publika.I’ve been hanging out in Publika like every alternate days every week.For some odd reason i really like it there,though its pretty dead cause its a new development area.Maybe that’s the reason why.I hate hanging out in places swarming with people.I’m loving the peacefulness.Not forget to mention they have great food and coffee there!One of my favorite place to visit there would be Ben’s grocer and i realized i’ve been eating so much more than usual because i’ll end up buying snacks home whenever i’m visiting.

I wonder if its a good thing or a bad thing.Hmmm….And the weather there is forever windy and chilly!Hence,my hair lol

#2 thing i’m obsess with is this chiffon pink blazer that i’ve gotten from Whitesoot.I love this blazer so much that i wore it three times to three different occasions in a week!And everything in this spring&summer is chiffon and lace fabric related,so this is like a MUST HAVE item.As someone who is petite like me,its actually very hard to find an ideal blazer that fits me.Its either that i’ll look like i’m wearing my dad’s coat which makes me look even smaller in size or the cutting on the shoulders just isn’t right for me.Unlike any other blazers,this chiffon blazer suits me just well.And it doesn’t look bulky when i put it on!Thumbs up to the light weight material!

Also,most of the blazers i bought are made of thick fabrics for good use in cold countries,not very wise choice to wear it in a country we live in!Hence why i love this blazer even more.I’m sure i’ll be shopping at Whitesoot even more often for now,not just for the good taste and high quality of outfits they have in store,but also for the top notch services that they provide.Efficiency will be the perfect word to to describe!

#3 thing that i’m obsess with.My happy hour dessert!The Last Polka has the most exotic flavors of ice cream.Such as Horlick,Guinness,gula Melaka with a twist of saltiness,Nutella and more!Its always such a dilemma to choose among all the flavors and i always end up eating the same flavors each time i visit.Must try all the flavors someday!

FMFA ! | Future Music Festival Asia

As sad as it sounds,but am not gonna lie.FMFA was the first rave party i ever attended,and if it wasn’t for Leonard who has been asking me like a hundred times to go,i’ll probably stay home like any other weekends.I’m never a rave person,or maybe i just didn’t bother to try new things out.To be honest i wasn’t very enthusiastic about the whole festival,i just took it as a day off because i thought i deserve a weekend day out since i’ve been staying in the past weekends for a couple of weeks.

Well i’m glad i made up my mind to tag along!There were no regrets!I couldn’t remember since when i had so much fun,the last time i remembered i think it was New Year’s Eve which was just EPIC and wicked.We booked a suite to ourselves,with almost 20 or more people.It was like a mini rave,everyone had so much fun.Too much fun in fact that it turned out to be a disaster because i KO’ed in 10minutes after the countdown.Can’t believe that i couldn’t even make it past 12.30am!Even till now,my friends kept reminding how much i’ve missed out during that night,i passed out too early!What a waste!But it was definitely a memorable one.

Ruth and Nate tagged along as well,they’re a pair of lovely couples from Australia,and trust me,when it comes to rave parties,you won’t want to mess with them.They party HARD.I was already tipsy and pretty high before i’m even inside the party.

And it all started because of this.It may look ordinary but again,like what i just told Estee last night,looks can be deceiving(cause i spent like RM8 and bought this Japanese instant dry noodles that looks damn good on the packaging but it tasted like crap and i wanted to puke after my meal).ANYWAY,Nate brought this little backpack with him that contains a huge ass bottle of Vodka,mixers and beer.I call it the ‘warm up kit’.We started drinking in the car when we were on our way to Sepang for the rave.So what Nate taught me was to finish half of the can of the sprite and he poured in the vodka after that,no paper cups needed!I got pretty high after i hit the third can of sprite.Hahahaha.

The weather was gorgeous.Thank god it didn’t rain!

There were several stages with different performances that you can go to,the first we went was Grandmaster flash!!!!

Nate got us more drinks inside.Beer taime!

After endless of jumping,dancing and shouting,i barely could walk the next day.If you ask me what’s my best workout plan,i’d say ‘GO TO RAVE PARTIES!”

Trust me,its the most tiring and effective workout ever.My body ache lasted for three days.Especially my legs!But it was really worth the pain,that evening was great.I enjoyed it !

Bits&pieces of Lao Beijing.

Was away for a while and went to Beijing during last fall,took a short seminar course by Robert Tisserand from The States(the father of essential oil) who is apparently an expert in aromatherapy industry.Learnt the ways of harnessing the healing power of essential oils,the subject was rather deep.It took me a while to understand.

It was a pretty long stay in Beijing,doll even came to visit me with her boyfriend.

Here’s some bits&pieces during my stay in Beijing.

His adorable Tibetan Mastiff.I heard the most expensive ones can cost up to 1million pounds.That’s pretty insane.

The sweetest persimmon i’ve ever tasted!Freshly plucked from Darren’s garden!The flesh was so soft because it was fully ripe you can just dig it with a spoon and shove it into your mouth.Nil chewing effort needed.

The place where i spent my nights in. Beijing’s weather can be really nasty sometimes,and at times like this the best place to be is in the hot tub.

Met up with Lionel who happen to be studying in Beijing and had dinner at Lao She teahouse .

Its great to have friends around when you’re all alone in a foreign city!

Proceeded to the tea house upstairs for some cultural performances that includes folk arts,peking opera,kung fu shows and dramas while we enjoy authentic chinese dessert pastries and teas that are made of genuine chinese tea leafs.

Ten weeks.

Hey dolls,finally some minor updates!I know i’ve been on a long hiatus,it feels weird to not update my blog for a month plus.I’ve always been PRETTY hardworking when it comes to blogging.

Fifteen days of Chinese New Year is finally over!Things are going back to normal again.Except i know some of you are still in the CNY gambling mood.Tsk tsk! *smirk*

I’ll be shutting down my blog for ten weeks or more after this week.Fret not i’ll be back !Some adjustments need to be made and i’ll be really busy with stuffs,so i hope you guys can bare with me.Please stay with me till i come back alright!Be good :) This year will be a year that i’ll be fully concentrating on myself,especially on studies and work!

Have yourself a merry little Christmas | Xmas eve 2011 ♥

So,a week before Christmas eve,my friends has been asking me the same question constantly for 378462 times,EVERYDAY.

‘Eh,what’s your plan for Christmas eve?’

And the only answer that i have was,‘I don’t know.’

It was pretty sad cause everyone had their own plans,and i have none.Especially the ones who are attached!!!All the evil couples tried to persuade me to ‘join’ them for Christmas.

SERIOUSLY!!?

I’d rather rot at home and die(which i did rot at home and die during year 2010 after spending dinner at a hawker stall having hokkien noodles with doll) than watching them cooing over each other,spending their own lovey dovey moments (Thanks for rubbing it in bitches!!) while i’ll be reminded that i’m #foreveralone

So i was ranting my problems to Karmun on Skype while she was still at The States,telling her how doomed am i gonna be during Christmas eve and how we both can spend time together during Christmas eve if she’s in KL.

The next thing i know she’s back in KL earlier than i thought and we’re celebrating Christmas eve together!!So we started planning everything like in two days and we didn’t even have a clue what to do !!First we wanted an all girls slumber party in a hotel suite but sadly like i said everyone is attached except the both of us.We booked the suite anyhow,just minus the rest of the girls.It can be loads of fun with just two girls too! *self console*

Then it was dinner.We both agreed that we should at least invite some people for dinner because its kinda gay to have only two girls spending time with each other even for dinner during Christmas eve.And we both as well agreed not to club during Christmas eve so we went bar hopping instead!!

Checked into Intercontinental at noon.The traffic in KL were surprisingly smooth on that day itself.Got upgraded to club suite!Nice!!

It was a chilled night,no one got drunk or wasted.But it doesn’t mean that we didn’t have fun!!Sometimes its so much better to just sit and chill,talk to your friends than spending time in clubs getting wasted for no reason.

Headed back to the hotel with Karmun and called it a night!
