I can’t believe it year end already!I’ve been staying in a lot lately,mainly cause to avoid the jam.Its year end and its school holidays now,the malls are swarming with people,and what’s great about year end is the YEAR END SALES!I went to the mall last week and I was quite disappointed at the choices of outfits they have in stores.The ones one SALES were too common,and I’m sure by now everyone will be wearing the same brand,same design.The new arrivals are quite boring to be frank,I just don’t feel it.Its like they’re repeating all the designs but only in different colors and patterns.

And who will want to share the same outfit in an year end party!Definitely not me!Just when I was having so much problem thinking what to wear for new years eve,I stumbled upon this website Kcoordi where my friend was looking up on it few days ago,and their outfits are pretty impressive!

HO HO HO,MERRY GUINNESS!

Greetings dolls!

Christmas is just around the corner!Incase i didn’t get to wish you guys on time,hereby i wish you all a Merry Christmas&Happy New Year!Have a wonderful pleasant Christmas eve!Love you guys!

And i just turned twenty two days ago!Can’t believe time passes so quickly,and i’m no longer in my teens anymore!Wanna thank everyone for the wonderful celebration!It was definitely a memorable one.Bar hopping was fun!And crazy!Also,dinner was awesome!I really wanna start writing a long post about how grateful and blessed i am and etc but i think i should skipped that part cause i realized i’ve been really long winded lately.Anyway,i manage to break some plates at El Cerdo during dinner celebration!Just stay tuned for more updates alright!

Attended a christmas dinner party hosted by Guinness sometime in November,and the one reason why i went was because of ‘ADAM LIAW’ !Winner of Masterchef Australia season 2.When it comes to cooking channels,you have no idea how much time i can spend on watching them.Like the whole day.And of course,Masterchef Australia is one of my favorite shows.Getting to meet Adam Liaw was a great honor,I’m like a little girl fan of his!!So happy to meet him in person!

The dinner was held at Doubletree Hilton,Intermark.More than 150 invited guests including chefs who participated in this Merry Guinness christmas campaign.

Menu of the night.We are lucky enough to stand a chance to actually taste Adam Liaw’s specially crafted Guinness infused christmas recipes!

The celebrity chef himself,doing some presentation and explaining about the dishes that we’re about to taste in the menu.

Farmhouse Terrine with Guinness mustard.

The sweet Guinness mustard contains aromas of malt,clove,nutmeg and pepper which adds on more interesting flavors to the egg and chicken terrine.

Oysters with Guinness cream.

I’m never an oyster fan.But i gave it a try anyhow because of Adam Liaw!But still,i wasn’t really enjoying it.

We had almost ten courses of meal including Christmas feasts prepared by Doubletree itself.So when dessert came,i couldn’t handle it anymore.

Chosen to be a volunteer to try out the cocktail made by some famous international mixologist(quite hot looking) LOL

I was so nervous when i was standing in the middle while 150 pair of eyes which means 150 x 2 = 300 of eyes staring at me!!!And i was pretty tipsy already at that time,i almost tripped when i was walking back to my seat!Plus i know Adam Liaw will be looking at me!!!!

When the MC asked ‘so what do you think of the cocktail?’ I was literally dumbfounded didn’t know what to answer cause i was like so fcking nervous.I just blurted out ‘errrr….delicious’ and look away.OMG STAB ME ALREADY!!!!

But to be honest,it was really delicious!There was this very strong aroma of pistachio nuts added in it.

Its like mint chocolate+Guinness.

Melissa came late!But it was great seeing her again!So much to catch up after so long :)

Me and the celebrity chef himself. *STARSTRUCK* He’s like really cute.Round hair bun,round head,round face,round eyes,round nose,round belly,round body shape.Hehehehehe.

I want to kidnap him home so that he can cook for me!!!!Okay,enough of day dreaming already.

Two days counting down till christmas eve,i can’t wait anymore!This secret getaway will be so much fun!

I’m so lucky to be given an opportunity to be invited to Ann’s Beauty house which is located in SS2 for a facial trial!What excites me is they’re using all CellAct products that is biotechnologically developed and manufactured in Switzerland.

Hungover face behind those shades. What i love about Ann’s beauty house is the whole homely and cozy interior,and their concept is to make people feel like as if they’re at home.Unlike other SPA or beauty centers,they’re not commercial at all.

So before the facial starts,i took a skin analysis test.

They also have the most professional beauticians in the house too!

So basically what they have to do is to take a close up picture of my skin using a face analysis system called the Eloscan,and the programme will calculate and evaluate the condition of my skin,allowing professionals to determine which treatments and products are best for any given customer.

So as you see in the picture,that’s an image of my chubby face,or they call it the ‘bun’ face.And look!That is how i’m gonna look like if i were to be a part of the Smurf’s!

So,the results will be printed out which shows my skin age and the percentage evaluation of each part of the skin analysis that comes with :

-Epidermal pigment

-Epidermal pores

-Dermal pigment

-Wrinkles

-Roughness

-Dermal sebum

And the percentage of evaluation of results are :

0%-30% - GOOD

30%-70% – PROBLEMATIC

70%-100% – BAD

And here’s my result!Not too bad!I was so happy when my total age result is 15!I have a skin of a 15 year old!Which means i’m 5 years younger hahahahaha .What a way to console myself.

Hey dolls!After almost two weeks of hiatus,i’m finally back on track!Beijing was amazing,surprisingly.And i can’t believe its the last day of November in 2011 already!My my,time do pass really quickly.

Anyway,back in topic.Finally got to explore the modern side of Beijing!Trust me,you’ll be amused.Beijing is actually a pretty interesting city i must say,it has the combination of historical and contemporary buildings,which makes me feel like i’m in two different worlds and country.

The food this time was so much better too compared to my last visit,obviously the standards are higher now and its getting better.Regardless in any matter,China is catching up!I do think that mandarin is getting more and more important,all the foreigners in China speaks Chinese!NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH IN CHINA.Well maybe 10% does.I was in deep shock when this pretty cute ang moh said ‘xie xie’ (thank you in mandarin) when i returned his wallet that he left on his seat in the airport.And the next thing you know,we had all conversations in mandarin.SO COOL!The next stop i really want to visit in China will be Shanghai,guess i’ve to start saving again!

This trip to Beijing wasn’t actually for travel purposes,but then i thought since its a study and business trip,why not stay longer and travel around too!It was suppose to be at least one month,but the weather’s killing me BIG TIME.China is HIGHLY POLLUTED.I repeat,HIGHLY POLLUTED.I find myself having difficulties breathing during my stay and there was one night,i suffered from a really badass chest pain that i thought it’ll take my life away.

I’M NOT EXAGGERATING I SWEAR!The pain lasted for almost 12 hours,i only get to sleep at 6am in the morning that’s when the pain started to subside.It could be a heartburn,i don’t know.Maybe its time for a body check up.

The saddest part is that i’m sleeping alone,and i’ve no one to tell :(

I didn’t wanna wake my friends up in Beijing cause its like 4am in the morning,and even if i do so,i don’t think they can help.I don’t want them to start freaking out.I called my friends back in KL and started crying,moaning in agony.I was so paranoid.I didn’t dare to call my parents because i’m afraid that they’ll be really worry bout me.I thought i was going to die cause my mum has always been telling me stories like how her friend pass away cause of cancer,heart attack cause they never lived a healthy lifestyle and its their price to pay and yada yada..so it kinda haunts me.And its not like my lifestyle is very healthy,it makes me even more paranoid thinking of it!

But i was being silly after all..haha! *face palms*

I took a seminar by Robert Tisserand from The States(we call him the father of essential oils) about aromatherapy in Beijing,i’m actually into all this things in case you don’t know.I’ve gained much knowledge and discovered so much about essential oils!I’m actually planning to invite him over to Malaysia to give talks,let me know if anyone of you are interested!Its a once in a lifetime opportunity.He travels to the whole world to give talks,but not in Malaysia yet.

Of all the places i’ve traveled to,i think every each country has their own uniqueness and they’re beautiful.And a country like Beijing,it can be so much better if we could cut down the pollution problem going on.We all should start to care of the earth more!

Speaking of eco friendly,KLIA has recently came out with a campaign and competition called ‘istyle KLIA’ .They’re searching high&low for talented designers to test their creativity and see if they can create an ECO friendly wearable outfit which also has to be fashionable at the same time.Of course,the designers are not the only one who is responsible for the environment.The public is.

Fall winter ‘ 11

I cut my hair.

Well don’t be too shocked cause it wasn’t a very DRAMATIC change.Though everyone was expecting it to be a boy cut,but i already extended my limit from 1inch to 6inches.My long locks has been following me for decades now,i just decided that i needed a change.

Its a good change though!

This was the last picture i took with my long,dolly brown hair!Wasn’t very healthy one for sure.I’m glad that my hair is so much smoother and its easier to be taken care of now.(Back stage,all mic up for the show for NTV7,will blog about the show soon!Don’t be too excited bout it lol)

I’m officially bored of my dolly look.

I went to my stylist and told him ‘Just fckin cut my hair already.You can do whatever you want,i trust you.’

So here’s the result.The dark side of me.LOLOL

Dyed my hair to dark maroon color,love it!Friends said i look more ‘westernized’ now,i used to have that some sort of Japanese look.

I look so much goth now!Whadya think?

Did my nails at The Nail Nail parlor last week(check them out!),chose a darker color that represents fall winter.Speaking of winter,i’ll be leaving to Beijing tomorrow and its freaking zero degrees there.
