Term break is finally over,class officially starts tomorrow,its time to hangout with the books again!Though it was only a week of term break,but i had more than enough of fun.Have been hanging out a lot lately simply because everyone is back from their summer and winter break overseas !Gotta make time and catch up with everyone as much as i can.Met a lot of new friends too!Been exploring a lot of new places around the City,the most recent place i've visit was Acme bar & coffee otherwise known as ABC.Its located at Jalan Binjai,thanks to silly dolly molly's instagram pictures of Acme,and how she has been telling me about the food and the whole ambiance they provide there,i've been wanting to visit for a longest time.

 

So i've decided to bring the boyfriend and his buddy there some time last week to check it out before they leave .The bf left few days ago btw,i'm missing him really badly already T______T



 

 

 



 

 

 

Acme simply means the best.



 

 

The whole semi contemporary interior with vintage furniture settings somehow reminds me of P.s cafe in Singapore,everything is very chic and classy.I'm officially in love with this place!With the high ceilings and romantic light beaming through the glass walls,i can imagine myself sitting at the corner on the cozy sofa area the whole day reading a novel or doing my work with my laptop.

Will be visiting this place more often !

Appetizer from the pots&pans section : Salted egg yolk chicken stripes battered and crispy fried.

Everything with salted egg is delicious to me!Another favorite salted egg dish would be the stir fried pumpkin with salted egg from Din Tai Fung ,not forgetting the yummu xiao loong bao they serve there!

Chunky mushroom soup with a little Asian twist , instead of adding croutons they replaced it with fried mini man tou(Chinese buns),ginger and rice wine and morels were added into the recipe as well.



 

 

The dry fish curry was a little disappointing.The imitation of the nyonya curry sauce isn't authentic enough.The flavors weren't strong enough,it was just so so only.



 

 

There's always room for dessert !It was so hard for me to make up my mind when there's an array of desserts lining in front of me !



 

 

I gave in to the Raspberry chocolate cake at last.There were a few of the cakes i wanted to try such as the Cempedak cake with Pistachio nut coating and the banana cake with caramel layer frosting but sadly no one was willing to share with me and i can't finish it by my own.Guess i'll have to wait till my next visit!

Aficio SP 100 e series printers.

Last week was the premiere screening of The Dark Knight Rises in conjunction with Ricoh Malaysia.It was a waste that i didn't manage to attend the screening with the girls but i did manage to watch it the very next day when the movie was screening on the first day.Saved to watch it with the boyf !

 

The Dark Knight was thrilling from the beginning till the end!Definitely the movie of the year i must say!Anyway,here's a little something interesting going on the movie premiere.The premiere day took place at The Gardens,Mid Valley.

I'm a person who doesn't/never will pay attention about printers,not until i'm in college.Printers became a very important thing in my life right now,i seriously don't know how am i gonna live without printers!Instead of paying extra to print my documents in a printing shop,i am contemplating to get myself a printer so i don't have to pay extra bucks and procrastinate my work and print them outside!I was introduced to Ricoh 's Afiocio SP 100 series printers,million thanks to MHB who associated with them earlier,and now i'm thinking which one should i get.There's 3 different models : SP 100 e, SP 100SU e &  SP 100SF e

 

 

I'm trying to make a comparison of this three printers and see which one suits me more.Even did market survey on the price!

The SP 100SF e is around RM 669 Multi Function Printers providing small businesses the option of keeping overheads low.It has 32MB memory and Prints up to 1,200 x 600 dpi resolution.

 



 



 

The SP 100 e is RM299 and has A4 mono laser printer ideal for personal use.Print speeds up to 13ppm A4 with 16MB memory.Its pretty small so its pretty convenient and its portable.



The SP 100SU is around RM499 and print speeds up to 13ppm A4 with 16MB memory.


 



 

All the Ricoh printers are pretty affordable !Its also very friendly user,especially for noobs like me.It has a simple and fast USB connectivity.Full front operation and machine access for easy paper jam removal. Easy to change cartridges as well.Not forget to mention that is is very environmental friendly because these devices have been designed with the industry-first toner refilling option—a feature that also reduces costs!It has the energy saver mode that uses as little as 5 W or less and it has the ability to print recycled paper.

Studio Lounge soft launch.

Was invited by a friend to one of his family member's new lounge opening at Tropicana City Mall,it was really an impressive place to chill i must say!

 

In order to stand out from the competitive bar/club business and also to keep the crowd coming,Studio lounge features very special concepts that i have never seen in anywhere before,such as the interactive American-patented "on demand" drinking system and also they are tied up with radio stations where they will be doing LIVE broadcasts and run station promotions from the venue itself.

Open mic sessions featuring Korean,Thai LIVE bands and DJ performances is also one of the specialties of Studio Lounge.Now i know why they named it Studio Lounge!It kept me wondering for a bit before i get the whole idea of the concept.

 



 

 

LIVE studio for customers to catch their favorite radio DJ's at work !My favorite DJ would be Patricia K from Capital FM!Damn,she's hot.



 

 

There were LIVE band going on the night we went for the soft launch,apparently they cover quite a wide range of genre of songs!You name it they have it!And the fun part?Customers get to jam with the band as they are invited to choose their songs and perform on stage.Imagine karaoke but with LIVE band!How does that sound?

Sounds good to me!

LEVI'S curve ID blogger award.

Hey guys!The results are finally out!I feel so lucky and blessed to get into TOP 5.Our final task for this competition is to create our very own style with the Levi's curve ID jeans.And we are required to create three different styles which is :

-A night out with the girlfriends

-First date

-Semi-f0rmal business meeting

Due to the limited time i had,i decided to seek help from Melissa who is a fashionista her own to give me some ideas with the looks and etc.Also Yukiko for helping me with the shoot being my official photographer !Million thanks to them two lovelies who made time for me on a Sunday noon.The results turned out to be fantastic,i really loved it A LOT.So here are the three styles i did.

Girls night out .

Girls always think that jeans are not meant to be for night outings,but i disagree!Jeans are very versatile for occasions!You just need to match it with the right outfit and accessories.Jeans will never go wrong in anywhere.Unless you're talking bout fancy soirees with fancy dresses.

I personally jeans does make you look sexy and fun to hangout with !Especially for a casual girls night,corset and jeans are the perfect match.And you don't wanna look trashy,so its better to add on a blazer or a cardigan.And instead of high heels,you can try ankle boots!It definitely makes you look more fun and fashionable!



 

The second look is first date.

I wouldn't wear something intimidating on my first date,so i will try my best to be sweet looking !Guys will always fall for sweet delicate looking girls (not till they found out the fierce side of yours lolol)

So with the same pair of jeans,i paired it with a floral collar top and a belt to enhance my body shape.And you won't wanna look too tall with your 5 inch or 6 inch killer heels during the day time especially if the guy you're dating is ummm,not really tall(SHORT).Cause you won't wanna scare your date off by looking taller than him.Guys with their egos,ya know.



 

Third look will be semi formal business meeting !

A simple basic collar shirt and just accessorize it a little and you're good to go!You won't wanna over do it cause its still a business meeting,you wanna look professional but chic and classy at the same time.This is my favorite look of all!!

You have no idea how comfortable Levi's jeans is,i wear them almost everywhere now.I wore them to my gig,events and even to class.They fit me so well and they make me feel very comfortable.I have no trouble feeling uneasy with Levi's jeans.


 

Well,this is the best i can do !I gave the best shot and here are the results.The rest of the competition really depends on the votes,and my votes are pretty low now.My competitors are crazy!The voting just started yesterday and they already have like don't-know-how-many-million people voting for them.
